This job involved removing the old bath and installing a new 1400mm x 800mm shower area all carried out to the customers requirements. New marble effect multi panels used in the shower area, new twin outlet shower valve fitted and glass shower screen. Also replaced the old radiator for a new chrome heated towel rail. Flooring and decoration being sorted by others.

Hot water system upgrade for this customer who had been struggling with poor hot water performance. After a site survey and a few small tests an unvented hot water tank was the best option.

An unvented hot water system operates directly off the mains water pressure, providing balanced, high-pressure hot water without needing a cold water storage cistern in the loft. It is highly favored for its strong shower performance, space-saving design, and quiet, reliable operation.

While the benefits are significant, keep in mind that unvented systems require a higher initial installation cost and rely strictly on your local mains water pressure. Additionally, in the UK, they must legally be installed and annually serviced by a certified heating engineer (such as one with a G3 Unvented qualification).
