• Soft Washed Building Sand (0-2mm)
Commonly used for bricklaying, pointing, slab laying and to mix with sharp sand to form plastering sand.
• Sharp Sand (2-6mm)
Commonly used for block paving bedding, slab laying, kerb laying, screeds and pipe bedding.
• Mixed Ballast (30mm down)
Commonly mixed with cement powder to form concrete.
• Washed Pea Gravel (5-10mm)
Commonly used on gravel paths, as pipe bedding and around as a decorative stone topping.
• Washed Gravel (10-20 mm)
Commonly used on gravel driveways and access roads, also used as a decorative stone topping.
• Crushed Limestone (20, 40, 50, 75, 100 & 150 mm)
Commonly used as sub base for roads, driveways, car parks and any other hard standing. Subject to availability we can supply many of the grades with or without fines. 20 mm clean is also commonly used a decorative stone topping, and the 150 mm clean for gabion basket filling.

Commonly used to form a hard base beneath tarmac, concrete and gravel driveways, the granite is frost resistant.
• Screened Road Planings
Commonly used to create a clean finish over hard standings and haul roads, building sub-bases, path/road/highway/driveway/patio sub-bases and farm tracks.
• Screened Recycled Topsoil (10 mm down)
Commonly used under new lawns laid with turf and in landscaped areas. The material benefits from small stone to help with drainage, and once compacted offers stability.
• Screened Black Fen Topsoil (10 mm down)
Commonly over existing under lawns to fill in cracks or hollows, in flower beds and green houses, flower pots and hanging baskets. Very high in nutrient, this material comes with a BS3882 certificate.
• Compost
Commonly used in vegetable gardens and flower pots. Our well rotted compost is full of nutrients and delivered warm!
• Recycled Crushed Hardcore (75mm down)
A recycled material commonly used to raise levels and to provide a firm base to carry construction traffic, larger vehicles or as a sub base beneath a blinding layer. This material will contain small contaminants such as glass, plastic, wood or tarmac. It is recycled from demolition projects and not suitable for small applications such as home driveways where you will be driving straight over it without a blinding or capping layer. By request we can also produce different sizes and grades of this material.
• Woodchip
Commonly used in garden borders, plant pot topping or as a capping layer to a footpath.
• Cement Bags and other packed products (25kg)
Multi purpose cement commonly used as a binder in concrete bases, mortar for laying bricks, slab laying etc. We also stock Postcrete, Kiln Dried Sand for block paving jointing, Cold Tar repair and White Cement. All of our products are made by Hanson.
• Sleepers (Various Grades)
Commonly used to create garden borders and retainers. We stock grade a reclaimed railway sleepers which are approximately 2.5 m long by 220mm wide and 130mm thick. These are our best seller!
