A new home for Purr-fectly Pampered is taking shape near Haverhill 🐈

Something a little different taking shape in Sawston…

This one is going to be a dedicated drum and music studio, so there’s a bit more going on behind those walls than usual.

We’re using 6x2 timber for the walls, giving us extra depth for insulation and sound deadening. We’ll also be fitting Tecsound, a thin, high-density acoustic membrane that adds mass to the walls and helps reduce sound travelling through them.

There’s plenty more to come with the soundproofing on this one, so we’ll share a few updates as it progresses…

A bit more progress from Fulbourn…

This one’s going to be a home gym, so we’ve made a few changes to the usual build to suit what it’ll be used for.

We’ve given it a higher ceiling to allow for the gym equipment and strengthened the foundations too.

Inside is now plasterboarded and we’re getting on with the cladding outside. Coming along nicely!

This recently completed studio in Cambridge has been finished in EcoScape composite slatted cladding in Natural Oak, and we really like how it’s worked with the darker detailing around the building.

The ‘before’ picture really shows how much of a transformation this studio has made. We also built a new gate and re-hung another existing one to help tie everything together and finish the job off properly.

You might have spotted the landscaping too…that was taken care of by our sister company, Cambridge Create & Renovate. 😉

CGS Innovations…

A couple of examples of what we mean when we say truly bespoke.

The round window was something a little different, while the pull-out bed was designed to disappear away when it wasn’t needed, making much better use of the space.

We don’t have a range of studios to choose from. You bring us your ideas and we’ll work with you to make them happen.

Another project makes progress in Fulbourn 🙌

This one is going to be a home gym, and it’s coming along nicely.

The glazing is in and we’re now getting on with the insulation and internal work. Still a fair bit to do, but you can really start to see the space taking shape now.

Having your gym at the bottom of the garden makes fitting a workout into the day that bit easier. No travelling, no membership costs, and it’s there whenever you want to use it.

Looking forward to seeing how this one ‘works out’ 💪

A few years ago we built this therapy room for Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton, set within a beautiful wooded area of the hospice grounds.

It was designed to give patients a peaceful place to relax and spend time looking out onto the surrounding trees and wildlife.

We were really pleased to be invited back recently to install these adjustable canopies over the decking, helping make the outside space more comfortable and usable throughout the year.

This was a very special project for us when we first built it, so it means a lot to be able to return and continue looking after the space. 💚
