We’ve been a little quiet on the page recently, as we’ve been busy working behind the scenes on a big project and a few smaller ones — including one exciting project that we’ll be revealing very soon! 👀
In the meantime, here’s a recent fascia, soffit & guttering project we’ve just completed for a client in St Ives.

The property had recently had a fantastic extension completed, along with new anthracite grey uPVC doors and windows, so the client wanted the fascia, soffits and guttering upgraded to match.
We’re delighted to have been trusted with the work and are really pleased with the overall finish. The anthracite grey has tied everything together nicely and gives the property a clean, modern look.

It’s been all go for us at A.R.T Roofing at the moment 🔨
Here is another roof replacement that has just been carried out by our team.
We stripped the old pan tile roof, insulated the loft space to 300mm to improve the properties overall thermal efficiency and replaced it with new breathable membrane, treated timber batten, crest double pantiles and replaced the lead on the chimney to ensure a high quality and watertight finish. We finished it off with a dry verge and ridge system to improve ventilation and reduce long term maintenance requirements.

Here is a before and after picture of a recent job we completed over in Sudbury, Suffolk.

These roofs were leaking around the prefabricated chimney stacks, we took them off and stripped the roof back. Installed new breathable membrane, treated timber battens, new tiles and finished it off with dry ridge and verge systems for better ventilation and a low maintenance weather tight finish.

A full roof replacement was recently completed by our team, involving the removal of the existing single pan tiles along with the original roofing felt and battens.
As part of the upgrade, the roof space was insulated to improve the property’s overall thermal efficiency and help meet modern performance standards. Following preparation works, a new breathable roofing felt membrane and treated timber battens were installed throughout to provide a durable and weather-resistant roofing system.
The roof was then finished using new double pan roof tiles, complete with all associated leadwork details to ensure a high-quality and watertight finish.
The client also chose to upgrade from traditional cemented verges and ridge lines to a modern dry verge and dry ridge system. This option provides improved ventilation, increased durability, and significantly reduced long-term maintenance requirements compared to traditional mortar applications.
All works were completed to a professional standard with careful attention to weatherproofing, longevity, and overall finish quality.
