Current state of play on our most recent project 👀

Final couple of cuts to be installed on the step, a good clean down, and then grouting to be completed.

Following this, we will hand over the project to the clients, with their total satisfaction being paramount.

Current project over in Dry Drayton has consisted of lifting and re-laying 50% of this porcelain paving after previous contractors left the clients with an appalling standard of work.

The clients asked us to come along, inspect and re-lay not this front area, but the rear patio. The first 3 photos of the front step are just a little example of the poor workmanship that had been provided. It looks like paving has been cut with an axe. 🪓

The remaining photos are our current progress made on the rear patio.

Upon inspection of the paving in the garden, we found out that the previous contractors had installed paving with a 15mm bed directly onto soil, no wonder it had failed.

We’ve been set to put the back garden right.

One of our project over in St.Ives is at the completion stage for us. Client is completing both the pergola and the gate, hence the reason the last few paving slabs haven’t been installed.

Bit of a mix match of paving slabs as the client was saving costs by re-using reclaimed paving. From our end, sometimes this can be frustrating due to the fact that there are come imperfections in the paving prior to installation.

Never the less, we get it done.

Current progress over on project Shakespeare. 🤟

Full excavation ✅
Heavy duty membrane installed ✅
Type 1 mot installed to a minimum depth of 100mm once compacted ✅
Sleeper retaining wall installed along with supports every 1.2m (postfixed/screwed) ✅
Step formed and paving inlaid ✅
50% of paving installed on the top main patio ✅

Further progress photos to follow in the coming days.
We have posts to install for the client to construct their pergola, further raised beds to install and a new gate/gate posts to install.

We do it and we to it very well! Biased but very proud of what we put out.

Large pergola constructed for our project over in Wyton-On-The-Hill.

Few final touches to be completed including guttering and flashing.

We’ve had paving, sleeper beds, pergola, and cladding for the shed. More photos to follow in the next couple of days.
