Sales Person for Plumbers Merchants

Pay: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Merchant Sales person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various tools and techniques. This role is essential for maintaining our operational efficiency and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The Merchant will be responsible for a range of tasks that require both technical expertise and practical skills.

Duties
Extensive knowledge on Plumbing and bathroom designing.
Able to sell to the public and answer any questions they may have.
Be confident in calling customers and trying to gain new custom.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively.
Good at working within a team environment.
Must be capable of basic invoicing skills.
Must be able to accept deliveries of plumbing materials and lifting of some heavy items.
Have a UK full driving licence to sometimes cover deliveries.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing and heating.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations relevant to the job tasks.
Ability to perform lifting of bathroom and sanitary ware in the workday.
Valid commercial driving licence.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
