We've always been able to get to customers whenever they need us and in all kinds of weather. We've never faced forest fires though, and the devastating impact they have on the environment.

After a very long drive to our customer Sue, her stairlift installation went in successfully and on the day we promised.

Over the last couple of weeks we've had the pleasure of showing some young people what the world of work is all about.

Nathan and Lyeken joined us last week from a local school and got hands on with stairlift engineering in our workshop and on the road with our engineers.

This week we've hosted Sam from a local school, who was interested in all things business. He got a taster of working in the office but most enjoyed being out on the road with our surveyors, measuring up for lifts.

And this week we've also had Alfie from a school in Bristol, who's been on the road with our Bristol engineer.

They've all enjoyed their time here and we've loved having them spend time with us to learn what life is like in the real world. We think it is so important to help young people in their onward career choices. Best of luck for the future to you all.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. And here's to our very own 1st Choice Father/Son duo!

Dad Colin started the company in 2004 with Coral, and Adam joined the team a few years later as a trainee engineer. He's now been with the company for over 15 years, and is now a senior engineer - what a great achievement.

Hope all the Dads have a relaxing day, and as it's the longest day of the year, you can make the most of it!

Not forgetting all the Dads who are no longer with us too.

Visiting dad this weekend?

If you're lucky enough to be able to visit dad this weekend, it's a great opportunity to just check in on him and see how he's getting on.

In our experience, people often leave getting a stairlift until the last minute or until it's too late. They struggle for years unnecessarily when a stairlift can be fitted in just around 4 hours.

Many people feel like they are giving in when they get a stairlift, but actually it's the stairs that are the problem and not you.

If only we had £1 for every time a customer says "I wish I had one fitted sooner", we'd be squillionaires!
