I haven’t posted for a while due to a very busy summer both professionally and personally! Working on some really interesting projects from multi unit self builds to Class Q barn conversions, heritage extensions and modern redevelopments of tired existing properties needing new life, a very broad range of projects have flown in and out the door! In amongst all this professional fun, Alice and I have been away on holiday, enjoying the sun, paddleboards, many walks and good food. Looking forward to even more projects to get stuck in to across Cornwall and Devon, seaside to countryside, would love to chat.

Archico has prepared another planning submission for our second project in Portwrinkle in 2026 on the South Coast of Cornwall along the same stretch of coastline between Looe, Millendreth, Downderry, Seaton, Whitsands Bay and Freathy, this area of Cornwall is less busy than the likes of Newquay and St Ives, but every bit as beautiful.

Our client wished to modernise their 1960s property and maximise views from their elevated position out to the endless sea view and Rame Peninsula, whilst using Scandinavian style materials to update the concrete tile and render finish of the existing property with matching colour doors and windows.

We originally worked upon the attached neighbours property and achieved planning permission for multiple internal and external alterations, we now look to achieve the same for our following client.

We look forward to more upcoming projects along Cornish coast.
