Bit of a fun one for me on the weekend.
This was a wonderful experience for myself and in a beautiful location.
Removed a few lower limbs to open up the amazing view of the mountain top and removed some large bits of deadwood that may pose a risk to livestock and landowners if they where to break free.
All work was carried out safely using a variety of drop cuts, both horizontal and vertical inbound and outbound step cuts to vary the way they drop then top and bottom meeting cuts for the large stubs to ensure clean flat drops.
It was the perfect location with an empty safe dropzone which ment the perfect chance to try different methods 🙂😁

Afternoon all I hope your enjoying this wonderfull weather we're having! 😎☀️☀️

Well.. Something a little different yesterday, after the cool and damp start to the week we finished on a high note, with a scorcher of a day and no shade to work in!
Our client raised concerns after several heavy limbs dropped from this Douglass fir, which stood above their home, access paths to cabins on the property and the parking area for themselves and for the cabins.

The tree was located in a conservation area and thankfully the client had already approached the relevant departments. The tree was assessed as being dangerous and be removed immediately as it posed a serious risk to persons/public and properties.
This forethought from the client meant we were able to take on this towering specimen within a few days of receiving the request.

Work progressed smoothly, throughout the day with use of free fall, cut - hold techniques and plenty of variations in rigging down the larger branches and timber to ensure all below was left safe and untouched.
Top climbing as always by James Slade pleasure to work alongside.
Both the client and ourselves were pleased with the results.

My boy went there having played football from reception. The whole team where patient, welcoming and happily share there knowledge with him to help him progress!

Afternoon all, appoligies the page has been quiet recently I've been so busy with contracting we havnt done alot of domestic work.

Here we have a beautiful maple tree that we where tasked with a moderate reduction of upto 2.5m, rubbing branches and dead wood removeal.
All work was carried out to British standard BS 3998 (2010)

Annual maintenance on your trees will help with keeping them at peak health helps fight disease and prevents them becoming a danger to property and people.

Works where carried out in a controlled safe manner and a thorough inspection for nests was carried out before any works began.
