Progress like this speaks for itself 🚧

Plots 2, 3 & 4 are now fully complete and ready to be handed over to the bricklayers — a solid bit of progress on this development 👷‍♂️

With the substructure works wrapped up, we now move into the next phase:

• Installation of the attenuation tank
• Installation of the hydro brake system
• Running surface water connections down to the main road
• Excavation of the drive to formation level
• Laying clean limestone sub-base
• Installing sacrificial blockwork to form the drive and parking bays
• Laying 70–80mm base tarmac, preparing for permeable paving at a later stage

The job is moving forward exactly how it should — well organised, on schedule, and built right from the ground up.

🚧Here’s a sneak peek into our new project we commenced with a reduced dig and demolition of a garage and brick out house four weeks ago.🚧

We are currently undertaking the groundworks for four new residential properties, which includes the installation of all services and the construction of a new access road for GJM Land Developments Ltd.

Plots 2, 3, and 4 are nearing completion. We are currently awaiting delivery of the block and beam system, which has been subject to supplier delays. All foul drainage has now been successfully installed across these plots.

Works will progress onto Plot 1 tomorrow, where excavation will begin in preparation for the foundations to be concreted on Friday.

This project is moving forward at a great pace — more updates to come soon 👷‍♂️

Another top-quality project smashed by the team at Surrey Groundworks and Civil Engineering LTD 💪

RC slab complete ✔️
Brick plinth complete ✔️

And the result? Absolutely stunning.

This one has come together exactly how we envisioned it, and the finish speaks for itself. Even better — the client is over the moon with the outcome, which is what it’s all about.

We’ve now handed the project over to Southern Oak who are set to work their magic with a beautiful oak car port. It’s been a pleasure working alongside their team, and we’re looking forward to many more collaborations ahead.

If this is how it looks now, just wait until it’s finished… it’s going to be something special.

Another major milestone delivered 👊

38 cubic metres poured today on the RC slab — no easy task in the hot, sunny conditions 🥵 but the team stepped up and drove it through from start to finish.

It was a long, demanding day on site, but that’s what it takes to get the job done right. We only managed to grab a couple of photos, more to follow once the brick plinth is underway next week.

Proud of the effort put in today — proper shift from the whole team 💪

Another solid milestone reached on site 👊

Our RC slab is now fully steel tied and shuttered, all set and ready for the big pour in the morning. We’re really pleased with how this one has come together — a great effort from the whole team.

Everything on this job has been delivered in-house by our own lads, with no subcontracting. That’s how we like to do it — keeping control, quality, and pride in the work from start to finish.

Next up, some brickwork early next week, and then we’ll be handing the project back over to Southern Oak
