I asked for some sketch suggestions last week, one was a turtle tarot apprentice! Well, i went more for more of a well-seasoned tarot reading turtle tbh! 🔮🐢

I like the idea of a witchy/fortune teller turtle who has a crystal ball as a companion! I imagine her place smells like the most gorgeous incense and dreams!

Naturally the song attached to this is “Elenore” by the Turtles. So maybe her name is Elenore like me…

If you like her, lmk in the comments!! 🔮🔮🔮

This is your sign to make someone you love a chess board with personalised pieces!!! For mine and my partner’s first year anniversary 3 years ago I made him a chess board, full of pieces and fun things in our lives!

⭐️ To make one yourself, you just need some air dry clay, acrylic paint and Mod Podge to make it all nice and shiny at the end. Also maybe some super glue if you have separate parts for the pieces!

✨ Compiled of hobbies, family pets, friends pets, fun things etc. Such a good prezzie to make and really good for the wallet!!

I’d love to run like a little workshop where I help people make one… would you be interested??

Really enjoyed making this poster for Buxton Opera House for our Senior Young Company show. The show is going to be performed at For/With/By in Hull this week and then at Outdoor Opera House next weekend!

I also got the chance to design the set and costumes which was fun! Will hopefully get some piccies on the grid for that as well 🍃🌞

Slightly different post! I’ve been in my job now for over a year, and what a year it’s been. As well as being an illustrator, I work in the theatre, darling!! From directing to musical direction to design work to projection making to puppet making. It’s been genuinely, gorgeous!!! 🩷 here’s a little insight to my other life!!

1 hour challenge! 🏰
I challenged myself last night to do a one hour sketch. It’s really easy for me to put illustrating off cause I get stressed about something not looking right. So I thought, find a reference and challenge yourself ❤️ quite happy with how this sunbathing Knight came out 🌼
