Few little pics of what the Karma Gardens team have been up to this week! 👀🌿

We’ve had some Indian sandstone lifted and relaid — but properly this time 😉😂 and an old, tired tiered timber deck completely ripped out and replaced with some fresh composite decking, finished with a smart double picture-frame border. 👌

Still a little bit left to go, but we’ll definitely have this one boxed off at the start of next week! 💪
Another busy week doing what we do best — putting things right and leaving them built to last. 🔨🌿

Just finished off this gorgeous Spanish wavy-edge porcelain patio! 🇪🇸👌

And of course, every single cut was carefully shaped to match the original factory wavy edge — because straight cuts against a finish like this just wouldn’t do! 😍

This one was also a brilliant opportunity to let the new lad get plenty of practice in on the cutting, and he’s done a cracking job Mich Stafford . 💪

✨ A courtyard with a story to tell… ✨

We revisited this beautiful little courtyard today to lay the final 3m² and complete the transformation.
When we completed phase one, the original heating oil tank was still connected to the property, meaning one final section had to remain untouched. With the tank now removed, we could finally return and finish the courtyard exactly as we envisioned it.
And this isn't just any paving…
This stunning reclaimed York stone once paved the streets of London. Each individual piece carries decades of natural weathering, character and history — something that simply cannot be recreated with new stone.
Carefully selected, individually laid and finished to complement the age and character of the property, the result is a courtyard that feels as though it has always belonged here. 🤍
Now that the final section is complete and everything has been grouted, you can really appreciate just how special this space has become.
But we're not quite finished with this one yet…
We can't wait to return in spring when the pots are back in position, the planting is bursting into bloom and this gorgeous little courtyard gets its final reveal. 🌿🌸

✨ Something a little different from Karma Gardens… ✨

We’ve just finished this completely bespoke media wall, using natural Egyptian limestone cladding, with all of the shelving handmade from Egyptian limestone paving.

The limestone shelving was carefully shaped and polished by hand, with the stone around the TV and fire finished with clean, smooth edges to give the whole feature a sharp, refined look.

Even the smallest joints and imperfections were carefully finished using crushed limestone made from our own offcuts — because for us, it’s the little details that make the biggest difference.

A completely unique feature, built from natural stone and finished to the full Karma Gardens standard. 👌

Turns out we don't just transform gardens… we can bring a bit of the outdoors inside too. 😏

From steep slope to usable garden 🌿🪵
Not every garden gives you a nice flat canvas to work with… and this one certainly didn’t! 😂
This area was on a seriously steep slope, making it awkward to access and leaving a huge amount of the garden practically unusable.

Rather than fighting the levels, we decided to work with them.
We created a series of stepped sleeper beds, following the natural rise of the garden and turning what was once an awkward bank into multiple large, usable planting areas. A central set of timber steps now provides easy access from the bottom right the way through to the upper garden.

The result is a space that’s not only much more practical, but gives the customer loads of scope for planting — and once these beds are full and established, this should look absolutely incredible. 🌸🌿

A challenging little build with plenty of levels to get right, but exactly the sort of job we enjoy.
