As you know, I was taking photos of some new products yesterday, and look at this one!

I think it might be my favourite! No editing needed, and it’s captured the colours of my new linen pot covers beautifully.

After all the effort of trying to get photos just right, it’s so satisfying when one turns out this well straight out of the camera! If only all my product photos were this easy!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this! 😂

Yesterday, I had a lovely pot of purple pansies sitting on my doorstep. This morning... well, just look at them! 😭

I'm guessing they've been munched by a muntjac, although whoever it was clearly wasn't shy about helping themselves! They must've been standing on my actual door step.

Has anyone else had their plants eaten by muntjac, or do you think something else might be responsible?

Wow! Thank you so much for all your incredibly kind responses to my post yesterday. 💚

As well as all of your lovely comments, I had multiple messages from people, and even people I know in real life have mentioned it to me. I honestly didn't expect such a response, and it really did make me feel so much better about the whole situation.
It's easy to forget that there are real people behind small businesses, and yesterday was a lovely reminder of how supportive this little community is.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, message me and share your own experiences. It genuinely meant a lot.

Bit of a moan today, and definitely not my usual kind of post. I might even delete this later, but I just need to get it off my chest!

For the first time in years, I've had a review that is less than 5 stars. I know I shouldn't let it bother me, but honestly, it does.

It's a 3 star review, and as a small business, those lower ratings can have a real impact. What makes it particularly frustrating is that the issue is something I could so easily have sorted out.

If the customer had messaged me first, I would have happily accepted the return and refunded them. I'd much rather have the chance to put things right than have someone be unhappy with something I've made.

I've sold over 5,000 plant pot covers now, and never had anyone tell me one wasn't what they expected, so this has been particularly difficult to take. I'm also sad that a large handmade plant pot cover, along with all the fabric, time and work that went into making it, is now sitting unused. I'd much rather have had it returned so I could potentially find it a new home.

And unfortunately, this one review may mean I lose my Star Seller status, which could have an impact on my shop and future sales.

I know I can't please everyone, and I'm certainly not expecting every customer to leave 5 stars. I just wish people would give small businesses the chance to put things right first.

Anyway, rant over! 😂 Back to my usual gardening and sewing posts tomorrow. 💚

I did actually realise while I was eating my birthday Chinese, but by then I was far too tired to write anything sensible.

Restock! 💀

This skulls design has been so popular recently that some of the larger sizes had completely sold out while I was trying to find more fabric.

The good news is, I've managed to find some more. The bad news it this fabric isn't being printed anymore, so I'm not sure how much more I'll be able to get hold of. This could potentially be the last restock of this popular design.

So if you've been waiting for one, now might be the time to grab it before they're gone for good!

Do you remember I shared how to make these vine wreaths a few weeks ago?

Well, I've finally had a go at decorating one of them. The vines have dried out now, but they haven't gone completely flat, which is absolutely fine if you don't mind your wreath looking a little bit rustic.

I wanted to make this one feel more autumnal, but I'm still not entirely convinced I've managed it. I think it's the colours. It still feels a little bit Christmassy to me!

I've also tried to make it so that all the decorations can be easily removed, meaning I can reuse the wreath base and decorate it differently another time.

What do you think? Does this look autumnal to you, or am I accidentally getting ready for Christmas already? 🍂🎄
