๐ World Mental Health Day โ 10th October ๐
With 1 in 8 people worldwide live with a mental health condition. This is why World Mental Health Day is an important reminder to raise awareness, reduce stigma and encourage open conversations about mental wellbeing.
Not everyone who is struggling will show it. Sometimes, the people who seem the happiest are fighting battles in silence, which is why kindness, understanding and support are so important.
Whether it's checking in on a colleague, supporting a friend or simply taking the time to listen, the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference. A simple "Are you okay?" could mean more to someone than you'll ever know. ๐
At Gaskell Safety, we recognise that creating a safe and healthy workplace goes beyond physical safety. Everyone deserves to feel supported, valued and heard, both in and out of the workplace.
Today is a reminder to look after yourself, check in on those around you and never underestimate the power of kindness.
๐ To anyone who may be struggling, remember:
You are not alone.
Your feelings matter.
It's okay to ask for help.
You are stronger than you think.
You never truly know what someone else is going through, so always choose kindness. And most importantly, remember to look after yourself and your own mental wellbeing!๐
