It’s the weekend….at last!! 🙌🏻

I picked some beautiful Dahlias last night and I’ve just popped them out on my stand.

They are £12.50 a bunch.

Morning folks! Happy Friday!

It’s too again today for flower to be out on the stand so I’ll be picking tonight and they will be out first thing tomorrow!

Lots of Dahlia again tomorrow 🌸

So thankful it’s looking a bit cooler after today! trying to keep the polly tunnel alive has been a mission…..it’s been about 48 degrees in there this week 🥵

I’m off to a little girls birthday party at lunch time and could actually deliver on my way if needs be? Brizlincote Vally…..Violet way and upwards!
Drop me a message if you’d like me to deliver when I’m passing. You don’t need to be home, just leave me a bucket in the shade!

I started picking at 7 last night and finished wrapped at 11 so there the freshest they can be.

I may have to put the shade cloth down at lunch time, just simply fold it back over the top of the stand to access the flowers 🌸

Good morning everybody, happy Friday!!

I’ve had a bit of a late start this morning with the dogs and my Niamh has an appointment shortly so I’ve decided to cut flowers for the stand tonight and stock it TOMORROW morning.

It was my first day back at the farm yesterday after having a few days away with Niamh so I had to get my florist orders cut first and give the tunnel a good soak.

I’ve come back to loads of Dahlia and Zinnia so they’ll defo be on offer tomorrow 🌸 I’ll get the flowers out nice and early as it’s going to be hot again tomorrow. Please also message if you’d like me to save you a bunch indoors for afternoon collection.

I’m running a bit late this Friday but there are fresh cut flowers (9pm last night) out on my honesty stand.

I will put the shade cloth down on the front of the stand at lunch time as it does get too sunny on my drive, simply flip it over to access the flowers.

This weeks fresh flower drop at A.Moss Family Butchers LTD Repton are fabulous if I don’t say so myself 🙈

The Zinnia are really pumping out now in the tunnel and the Dahlia are just getting going.

It’s been a real struggle this growing season with the drought but all I can do is my best to keep everything going until the end of the season.

Defo think the way forward is perennials for cutting with the climate change, so each week when you lovely lot buy my flowers in investing in some perennial seeds or plug plants if I know the seeds are too tricky. The annuals are coming and going within days, it’s really disheartening but onwards and upwards we go! 🌸

There won’t be any flowers on my stand today.

It’s been too warm for them sitting on my stand so the past few weeks I’ve been playing yo-yo to try and keep them as fresh as I can for you.

I can cut to order tonight or tomorrow morning so please let me know if you’d like a cheeky bunch for the weekend 🌸

My little flower stand is stocked up now with some gorgeous little teacher ‘thank you’ bud vases, mini wraps and bunches. All picked at 5.45 this morning 🥰

I’ve actually placed some shade cloth over the front of the stand as it gets warm by lunch on my front.
All you have to do it unhook the cloth and flip it over the top to access the flowers.

If you can’t get this afternoon and you’d like something saving then please drop me a message and I’ll bring them back indoors.
