Recent work within both the Castle grounds and the market place, new planters, bins, benches and ripping out the old terracing at the bandstand ready for the new terracing, lighting & bandstand refurbishment. We’re also resurfacing/replacing almost 4000m2 of footpath throughout the grounds.

Finally after a few unforeseen delays (tree protection issues) we can start to prepare the site compound ready for welfare units & storage of materials & begin the improvements to the conservation site of Clitheroe castle grounds & park. Excavating of existing Bandstand area of almost 500 ton & replace with new conservation granite paving ,park paths, fencing, benches, lighting etc.
