We’re really proud to be part of something special at RHS Garden Bridgewater 🌿

After more than eight years in the making, the Chinese Streamside Garden and Yangzhou Scholar's Garden opened to visitors today. Described by the RHS as Europe's largest and most authentic classical Chinese garden, we're delighted to have played our
part in bringing it to life.

At its heart is an authentic Chinese courtyard garden, the only one of its kind in the UK, built in the traditional way.

Working as a joint effort between Scope Electrical Engineering and our sister company
Scope Fire & Security , our teams delivered a complete installation across the project, including:

⚡ Full power and lighting

💡 Emergency lighting

🔥 Fire alarm system

🧯 Fire extinguishers

In a space designed to be enjoyed for its natural beauty and traditional craftsmanship, the brief was clear: everything had to work perfectly without being seen. Our engineers took real care to route and conceal all wiring so nothing takes away from the garden's aesthetics.

It's a prestigious project and one we're genuinely proud to have put our name to. A huge thank you to everyone involved, and congratulations to RHS Bridgewater on the opening.

We can't wait to see visitors enjoy it.

If you have an electrical, fire or security project coming up and want to experience the same level of care and attention, get in touch with our office.

As we approach 6 months since we moved into our new home at Bank Parade, we wanted to take a look back on that journey.

Anyone who has moved house/ business will know the stress and pressure that comes with it, and how it never quite goes to plan 🤪

What started off as, it's pretty much good to go, turned into a full rewire (thanks to Scope Electrical Engineering), blocked pipes and leaks to sort, new lighting, ceiling tiles, carpets, secondary glazing, furniture, a complete redecoration of the entire building from top to bottom, and we filled more skips than I could ever have imagined 💪

A lot of thought went into the design and layout to make the office a modern, collaborative environment where our staff are happy, and seeing where we've ended up makes all the hard graft worth it.

Massive thanks to our staff, families and friends who pitched in throughout.

😊 Proud doesn't even cover it.

😎 A satisfying transformation video.

☀️From a standard roof to one that's generating clean, renewable energy for the homeowner.

🏠 Solar isn't just about reducing electricity bills. It's about making your home more energy efficient, reducing your reliance on the grid and investing in the future of your property.

🪛 This installation is a great example of how seamlessly solar panels can be integrated while looking smart and performing even better.

🤔 Thinking about solar for your home? We'd be happy to talk you through the options and provide honest, straightforward advice.

📍 Covering Lancashire and the North West.

😎 The sun's finally out across the UK this week, and there's no better time to think about putting it to work 💪

🏅 At Scope Electrical Engineering we're MCS registered, and one of the first companies to be assessed under MCS's redeveloped installer scheme. The new scheme moves the focus away from back office paperwork and onto what actually counts: the quality of the installation itself. So when we say you can trust the work, MCS is the proof, every job is carried out to the highest standard.

💰 For some customers, there's a financial reason to act now too. UK domestic homes and registered charities can have solar installed completely VAT free, as long as the full system is supplied and installed by the same contractor and the job is completed before 31 March 2027.

📲 If you've been weighing up solar whether it is commercial or domestic, let's talk. We'll handle the full job, MCS certified from survey to switch on.

🥳 We are 1! 🎂

🎈 One year of Scope Electrical Engineering. What a year it has been.

🤝 When we launched, we had a clear vision: deliver exceptional electrical engineering solutions with the same commitment to quality and client care that has always defined the Scope name. Twelve months on, we can honestly say we have done exactly that.

⚡️ From commercial installs to specialist projects like the RHS Bridgewater Growing Skills Garden, we have taken on work we are genuinely proud of. We also hit a major milestones, with new team members, moving to our new office and growing our accreditations by achieving MCS certification for solar PV, opening up a whole new chapter for the business.

😊 None of this happens without the right people behind it. To our team, thank you for your hard work, your expertise, and your dedication every single day. To every client and partner who has trusted us in year one, thank you for giving us the opportunity to show what we are capable of.

💪 Year two starts now!

When the ceiling is part of the aesthetic, the installation has to match.

🔒 Scope Electrical was trusted with helping to transform part of a stunning old mill into modern, self-storage units, with a full electrical fit-out.

💡 This meant rewiring the local lighting circuits and incorporating emergency lights to stay compliant.

👌 We pride ourselves on always delivering neat and tidy work but with an open ceiling grid, we made extra sure, every run was level, every termination was neat, and every detail was exactly as it should be. To achieve this, we installed metal trunking to keep every cable run clean, organised and easy to upgrade in the future.

A brilliant project, a brilliant setting, and a result we're proud to put our name to ✅

Sometimes the best jobs are the ones closest to home. 🏍️⚡

💡 A simple lighting upgrade at a local garage, improving visibility throughout the workshop and making sure the team have the conditions to do great work 🔧

🏍️ As a company run by an avid motorcyclist, we had a personal interest in getting this one right.

✅ Safe to say we delivered.

Some projects just feel good to be part of. 🌱

🌺 We've been proud partners of Royal Horticultural Society Bridgewater for a while now, and our latest work there has seen us help provide finishing touches to their brand new Growing Skills Garden.

👩‍🌾 Led by Emma Cleal, the Growing Skills Garden is a dedicated, inclusive teaching space with a real sense of purpose, designed to inspire young people, open their eyes to the world of horticulture, and show them the possibilities of a genuine career in the sector.

🌻 Far from a traditional classroom, it's a hands-on, outdoor environment carefully considered to be welcoming and accessible for all members of the community, where young people can get their hands dirty, build real skills, and discover a passion they might never have known they had.

⚡️ Our role was to deliver the full electrical infrastructure throughout, supplying power to the large greenhouse, installing lighting across the outdoor areas, and providing weatherproof power outlets to support the teaching space day to day.

📧 Emma and the team can't wait to welcome visitors, and if you'd like to find out more, you can get in touch at [email protected] 🌿

🤝 A brilliant project, a brilliant client, and a relationship we're proud to say is very much still growing.
