Scartop pieces are always a nostalgic one for me, the chances are I originally sprayed this in the 2000's whilst working for the company that produced them.

It genuinely is some of the best made furniture in the country, extremely well made and just as robust as the day it left the Workshop some 20+ years ago.

Now fully restored with a factory finish.

Sleek matt Black finish, with classic original solid brass handles.

This piece is in paticularly good condition, the drawer runners show that it's had very little use.

Scartop Rossendale 2 over 3 Chest.

Incredibly well built with the mandatory Dovetail joints and slatted back and Drawer bases as a mark of excellent craftsmanship.

As always very reasonably priced.

My absolute favourite furniture to restore.
A timeless classic Stag Mistrel, some of these pieces are as old as me and are as solid as the day that they were hand crafted.

If there is one thing ive learnt over the past few decades in the trade it's that preparation is everything... especially when dealing with 1980s stained Mahogany in the form of Stag Mistrel 😂

Whatever it is that you are painting wherever possible take it right back to the wood for that flawless finish 👌🏻
