🚧 ANOTHER PLAY AREA TRANSFORMATION COMPLETE! 🌱

We’re pleased to have recently completed another project, transforming a play area into a cleaner, safer and more play-friendly environment for children to enjoy all year round. ☀️🌧️🛝

👷‍♂️The project involved a full strip-out of the existing area, followed by careful ground preparation and the installation of Type 3 stone.

We then prepared the area around the existing play equipment in preparation for our Unique Play Grass 🌿 — creating a fresh, natural-looking finish while keeping the existing equipment at the heart of the play space.

PROJECT COMPLETED! 🌳🛝

Check out these before and afters! 📸

We recently carried out the groundworks surrounding an existing climbing frame, transforming the area into a more practical, accessible and usable outdoor space.

The works included:
🔹 Ground preparation around the existing play equipment
🔹 Installation and compaction of MOT Type 1 stone
🔹 Creation of new offshoot pathways
🔹 Installation of a mulch surfacing system

The finished space provides a natural-looking, hard-wearing surface and pathways designed to help keep the area accessible in all seasons — whatever the British weather throws at us! ☔🌤️

A completed project in the stunning Lake District! 🏔️

For this installation, we first excavated the area to the required depth and prepared a solid sub-base ready for the tarmac base course.

Once the base was in place, we finished the surface with a high-quality resin bound gravel, creating a clean, durable and attractive finish.

A great transformation, with some pretty impressive views to work alongside! 👌

✔️ Installed new Charcoal Block Border for a clean, defined finish
✔️ Laid a compacted stone sub-base for long-lasting durability

Another rewarding project recently completed by our team!

We have transformed the external areas of this residential property with the installation of our durable Unipave surfacing and high-quality artificial grass. This has created a practical, low-maintenance, and attractive outdoor space ✨.

This project was particularly meaningful as it helped improve ease of access and day-to-day usability around the property, ensuring the outdoor areas can be enjoyed comfortably.

❤️Projects like this are especially rewarding, as they demonstrate how quality construction and surfacing solutions can have a positive impact on everyday life.

Excellent work by the team and a fantastic result for the homeowner 👏🏠.

🏫 We were delighted to recently complete this bespoke project at New Mills Primary School.

The Year 6 pupils wanted to leave a lasting legacy for future generations of pupils, and we're proud to have helped bring their Concept To Completion!

The project:

🛝 installation of a bespoke embankment slide, complete with a treated timber top deck platform.

🌱 Grass mat safety surfacing has also been allocated for installation to complete the area.

🧗 Installation of Traverse Grips as an added feature to provide that extra challenge and make the climb up to the slide even more fun for the children.

🛡️ Small improvements can make a big difference when it comes to creating safer environments for children to learn and play.

This simple installation of finger guards on the large gates at Morecambe Road Primary School is a great example of a proactive safety measure, helping to reduce the risk of finger and arm-trapping injuries while providing extra peace of mind for staff, parents, and pupils.

Safety will always be a top priority for us here at Unique Play Company. ✅
