🏫 We were delighted to recently complete this bespoke project at New Mills Primary School.

The Year 6 pupils wanted to leave a lasting legacy for future generations of pupils, and we're proud to have helped bring their Concept To Completion!

The project:

🛝 installation of a bespoke embankment slide, complete with a treated timber top deck platform.

🌱 Grass mat safety surfacing has also been allocated for installation to complete the area.

🧗 Installation of Traverse Grips as an added feature to provide that extra challenge and make the climb up to the slide even more fun for the children.

This simple installation of finger guards on the large gates at Morecambe Road Primary School is a great example of a proactive safety measure, helping to reduce the risk of finger and arm-trapping injuries while providing extra peace of mind for staff, parents, and pupils.

Back to this stunning residential project for a full maintenance visit to keep this outdoor space looking clean, fresh & sharp! 🏡✨

This visit included:
🌳 Reshaping the Topiary
✂️ Trimming back overgrown bushes
🧹 Power brushing the artificial grass
🫧 Deep cleaning the wet pour surfacing
💦 Power washing the resin bound drive and surrounding stonework

Keeping outdoor spaces looking their absolute best all year round is just as important as the original build — and our maintenance service does exactly that.

Another project complete by Unique Play Company ✔️👏

Here at Newchurch St Nicholas CofE Primary School, we have removed two existing panels and transformed the space with a brand new Polycarbonate Shelter, finished with sleeper benches to three sides.

🌦️This has created a practical, durable and welcoming area to use all year round! A great upgrade that makes a real difference to how the space can be enjoyed 🙌

Another great transformation completed 🙌

We’ve recently finished a project at West End School in Morecambe, giving an existing play area a fresh new look and feel.

🔧 What we did:
• Installed high-quality artificial grass directly over the existing wetpour surface
• Refreshed the space without the need for full removal

🌿 The result:
• A bright, clean, and natural-looking finish
• Soft and comfortable underfoot
• A practical, low-maintenance solution for everyday play

It’s always a pleasure helping schools enhance their outdoor environments and create spaces pupils can enjoy all year round 😊

We loved working with our local community on this one! 🛝💚
Unique Play Company recently completed a playground surfacing project for Taywood Nursery School, and the results turned out great.

For this project, we installed two types of surfacing, adding both safety and a sensory element to the play area:
✔️ Green & black mixed wetpour laid over an existing concrete pad, creating a safe, durable, and visually engaging surface
✔️ Brown mulch installed along a flagged pathway, introducing natural texture and sensory variety that enhances outdoor play experiences

The combination not only looks fantastic but also supports sensory development, movement, and everyday exploration for the children.
A big thank you to Taywood Nursery School for trusting us with their playground—we’re proud to support local schools and create spaces where little ones can play, explore, and grow 🌱
