Just finished this lovely natural edged Yew wood bowl. Note the beautiful grain which is so rewarding to bring to life.

Some recently completed pieces. The pair of Acorns were made to go on stair newel posts. The bowl is made from Walnut salvaged form an old fallen tree. The Pestle and Mortar was made from a lovely piece of Yew and Acacia. The lamp base is made from a variety salvaged woods and takes pride of place in our lounge.

Available now and ready for Christmas, a pair of English Elm wood dishes/bowls the grain of which is absolutely stunning, being both from the same piece of timber which was salvaged from a tree that succumbed to Dutch Elm disease the colour and pattern of the grain is as near as one could get to being identical. Very tactile these, two dishes have a food safe finish and would make lovely serving vessels for crips,nuts or just on there own as beautiful ornaments.

Description: A pair of English Elm wood dishes/bowls the grain of which is absolutely stunning, being both from the same piece of timber which was salvaged from a tree that succumed to Dutch Elm desease the colour and pattern of the grain is as near as one could get to being identical. Very tactile these, two dishes have a food safe finish and would make lovely serving vessels for crips,nuts or just on there own as beautiful ornmaments.
