Recent Installation in Haywards Heath

We’ve just completed the upgrade of a hot water system in a retirement flat — a big improvement for comfort and reliability!

The old 15-litre oversink heater simply didn’t provide enough capacity, so we replaced it with a 90-litre Direct Unvented Hot Water Cylinder, giving the homeowner plenty of hot water when they need it.

This included:
Removing the existing water heater and pipework
Installing a new 90L unvented cylinder in the agreed location
Connecting to existing hot & cold systems
Installing all required safety components in line with Water & G3 Regulations
Completing full electrical connection with timed spur and isolation
Commissioning, testing, and checking the entire system for safety and performance.

Electrical Fault Finding Completed Last Week in . A recent job involved tracking down a tricky fault on a kitchen ring circuit.

⚠️ Issue Found:
A live-to-earth fault affecting a circuit supplying:
• 4 kitchen sockets
• 2 spurs (including an outside socket)
• 3 sockets in the conservatory

🐀 The cause was traced to rat damage under the floorboards, where insulation had been compromised on one leg of the circuit.

🔧 Solution:
• Faulty leg identified, labelled, and safely disconnected
• Circuit protection adjusted — breaker downrated from B32 to B20 to ensure safe operation
• All faceplates reinstated and power restored to remaining points on the circuit

✅ Client fully informed of the issue and the remedial changes made.

A Therma Tech 24kW pool heat pump was reported with an F04 fault code. Our diagnosis traced the issue to no HVDC output from the compressor inverter PCB.

🔧 Solution:
We replaced the faulty inverter PCB with a service exchange unit from stock, getting the system back up and running quickly and efficiently.
