Take a look at our project in Edenbridge we completed earlier this summer. Going back to get some footage after the scaffolding has been taken down and what a masterpiece.

After completing the main peg tiled roof the lower slate roofs were able to start. Using second hand natural slates alongside a fantastically installed Restec Roofing fibreglass system on a tricky curved design was the perfect combination.

Fitting in perfectly around the other aged peg tile roofs which are common in the historic town this roof has achieved all that was intended. With new integrity against the weather for years to come while producing a well crafted rear extension roof and main roof transformation.

Another 3 layer system completed in burgess hill a while ago.

Stripping off all existing felt and OSB, as well as taking out all the very thin insulation and installing new 100mm insulation to make all the difference for when the cold weather comes. With both properties benefiting from the work commencing at the same time there is no unnecessary join or connection for the 3 layer system, it simply all rolls into one weather proof, sharp finished and overall fantastically executed flat roof.

Kerb appeal.

Transforming the front of this property in burgess hill with a few simple changes. Replacing the vertical plastic hollow board cladding with a smooth grey machine made concrete tile with added leadwork, improving straight lines and character which is always visually very pleasing. A new Restec Roofing fibreglass system was installed on the small porch creating a smooth and seamless finish, sat below another small section of vertical tiling going together very nicely. Not only improving the look of the front of the property but achieving a leak free roof!

This is our recently completed warm roof transformation in Hassocks.

Installing a warm roof consists of celotex insulation with layers of boarding, vapour control layer and celotex insulation with a flat roof system. Installing this case was a 3 layer bitumen felt roof that was installed. Installing a warm roof has many benefits such as keeping heat inside more efficiently but also providing a cooler temperature in the winter.

The existing roof had a large roof lantern in which was allowing direct sunlight into the property, that combined with the original flat roof design was not leaving a desired temperature inside, therefore installing a warm roof was the ideal solution.

The old roof was taken off including all existing boards and felt, new OSB boards were installed with a vapour control layer installed underneath 150mm celotex. With another layer of OSB to follow we then installed our 3 layer flat roof system.

With the customers delighted with the new desired temperatures inside with their warm weather we are experiencing and the flat roof being given a new lease of life this project has really transformed this property with the new roof and to finish we installed new fascia’s with new black plastic guttering.

Here we have a double storey extension completed in Burgess Hill.

Using Redland 02 brown 49 concrete Interlocking tiles on the pitched elevations and the existing vertical tiles on the vertical of the newly built extension this roof has the perfect balance of blending in to the existing property while creating a crisp new finish. Installing a dry ridge system on the very top of the roof with new concrete interlocking tiles, breathable membrane and treated battens with over fascia vent and eave trays giving the roof much better airflow.

On the lower roof the same process followed with new lead cover flashing and pre-fabricated fibreglass valley troughs with lead saddles top and bottom this roof is built to last!

Masterpiece! The first plot in Hooe is completed and what a stunner it has turned out to be.

Using a machine made clay Edilian ValDe Sienne with bedded verges and a dry ridge system this roof has a fantastic look with all the protection it needs for years and years to come. Combining the look with vertical timber cladding installed by the developer the look and finish doesn’t get much better than this, setting into the scenery perfectly.

Completing this roof with deadlines and time frames that needed to be met was a must but wasn’t an issue. With plot 2 coming along nicely we look forward to showing you a round up of the stunning new builds.
