🚛 Why Do Delivery Areas Develop Potholes So Quickly?

Heavy delivery vehicles, constant braking, tight turning movements and repeated loading can put serious pressure on asphalt surfaces.

Over time, these stresses can lead to cracks, surface damage and potholes, especially when water gets beneath the surface.

Taking over a commercial site? Don’t just inspect the building — check what’s happening outside too.

Cracks, drainage problems, sunken areas, failed repairs and damage from HGV traffic can all point to bigger problems beneath roads, car parks and loading areas. What looks like minor wear today could become a significant maintenance cost later.

A proper inspection can help you understand the condition of the surface before you take responsibility for the site.
