It's been a long wait but it's finally here! Our newest plant addition to join the team has been built to our required specifications by Superjet part of the Jetchem Systems Group . This gives our workhorse yellow jetting unit a well deserved rest from 11 years of relentless service. Some work to do to future proof the jetter and branding/wrapping to be added but hopefully you will see it out on the road very soon.

Recent completion of full drainage investigation at Douneside House & Health Club, Tarland to ascertain structural condition of the drainage system along with culvert investigation work to determine condition, line and depth for future upgrades/developments. We originally undertook this complete map out back in 2014/2015 so was highly advantageous to have the experience and knowledge of our Ops. Manager who conducted the original survey to undertake this re-survey and complete within budget for the client.

Several hats (literally) worn today 🤦‍♀️ but absolutely necessary to ensure we are providing a loyal and reliable service as always to our clients. Quick turn around from hard hat to wedding reception glam 💃. Huge thank you to our Ops. Manager Norman for holding it all together under extremely challenging conditions today and my hubby who I literally couldn't do all of Drainflow without 😘 x

Myself and Norman attended a local primary school today to show how we as a Drainage Contractor use water every day in our industry and to give the children an insight into drainage systems, the equipment we use and what services we offer. The class topic was water so the children were very interested to see high pressure water jetting in action! What a great audience and some very mature and tricky questions to be answered! Thanks as always to Norman for his support, dedication and commitment to the business and we hope our visit will play a small part in Developing the Young Workforce (DYW).

**WE ARE HIRING**

Due to current workload, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Drainage Engineer who is a reliable and enthusiastic individual, willing to learn from a mentor with over 35 years experience in the drainage industry.

We are looking for someone who has their own transport (or is able to get to Kintore, soon to be Blackburn), has excellent communication skills, is able to work as part of a small team and is keen and willing to learn. Training will be provided in confined space entry/manhole entry, high pressure water jetting, CSCS, HAVS, emergency first aid at work, no dig repairs and online training modules over a 12 month period.

Overtime is available and Saturday working may be required (mutually agreed in advance,1-2 Saturdays per month, paid at time and a half).
