Back to work after a well deserved break in the sun with my troops, been back for a week and a half and it’s been flat out since coming home... be ready for another holiday at this rate😎,

Kitchen fitted in Portgordon, Victor sorting out the sparkie side of things (oh and some proof the sparkies can clean up after them😂)and JS Plumbing & Roofing dealing with the gas n water side, cheers lads.

Auchenreath skirtings smashed out over the weekend, over to get the door sets made up tomorrow ready for fitting over the weekend leading onto the facings and ironmongery etc.

Decking area in Cullen finally started, ripped up and see what problems there is to over come there.. Vic over to sort out the electrical side..🤦🏼‍♂️ some photos to see what were up against with this one.

Finally.. materials to be sorted out today/tomorrow for lintmill kicking off. It’s all go go go

Vast improvements at Auchenreath. Upstairs Pritty much done for now ready for taping coving etc. Master bedroom/ensuite and changing area will be carried on at a later date, however the Main organs of the house arriving this week.. stairs arrived yesterday and fitted today.. kitchen arriving tomorrow. Window cills cut and router edge put on, different to go with the look of the house.. instead of the classic round nose. Painter DynamoDecorating cracking on with the decorating side of it. Kitchen & Utility fitting and finishings over the next few weeks 👌🏼

Managed to squeeze this little job in this week for one of our customers holiday homes in Cullen. Stage one of the kitchen alterations. New tops, backboards and sink. Island area altered and moved to allow stage 2 to move forward. Bench seat to be installed at a later date once it’s built

Decent bit of progress this week over at Auchenreath👌🏼 despite having to sort out and straighten load baring walls and strip down and sort out “ready to sheet” areas. 1 of them the window would even open and that’s without and plasterboard 🤦🏼‍♂️. Framed, barrier papers put up, sheeted, maybe even start to get some walls up next week 🤞🏼

Safety first 👷🏼

Stairway blocked and handrails up and ladder secured to save any disasters, got the dwangs in today (photo taken before hand) for catching sheets, stair sizes double checked & confirmed, all ready to get the vapour barrier on and start the sheeting of the ceiling. Good tide up today done also.. working in a mess is never good.

Auchenreath ground floor complete with the sheeting. Decorators cracking on with the Ames Taping, soon be time for kitchen fitting, doors and the rest of the finishings.

But for now.. it’s onto the upstairs. Materials ordered and delivered.. time to get a crack on, Get the prep work sorted out before sheeting begins. Few more issues to be rectified up there.

Forgot to do the kitchen update last week👷🏼 need more hours in a day.. however worktops and backboards arrived and we got it finally finished.

Other certified trades as always used for plumbing & gas works was carried out by Liam Cowie Plumbing & Heating and electrical works carried out by Victor Cu***ng, kitchen designed and supplied from BuckieHowdens. Another happy customer 🙂. Over to the customers own decorator to finish off the decor

Mid week already..

Kitchen progress, unfortunately there was issues with worktops and backboards.. so still awaiting the replacements to arrive this afternoon.. however the rest is done including the new flooring.. was hoping to have this finished today and back to crack on at Auchenreath, never mind adapt and over come😂 🔨🪚🪛

This weeks flying past already.. busy getting stuck in over at Auchenreath, more sheeting and the start of the internal walls going up, few more to do, awaiting delivery of another pallet of plasterboard to continue with the sheeting, the get ready to move on to the upstairs.. starting to come together.

Bit of a curved wall to open up that little bit of the hallway and help it flow together more.
