There’s no one-size-fits-all way to lift a roofing or cladding panel 👀

Our Managing Director, Tom Spence, will be taking to the stage at the NFRC Y&NE and North West Technical Event to talk about labour-saving panel lifting and the safety considerations around machinery vs manual handling.

From getting the vacuum lifter configuration right to avoiding panel damage and unnecessary costs, it’s a practical look at getting panel lifting right.

⏪ A little throwback to our first ever Open Day

It’s hard to believe it’s already been over a year since we opened the doors and welcomed customers, suppliers and industry friends!

✅ Lifting demos
✅ Equipment displays
✅ Hands-on demos
✅ Impressive kit in action

And we managed to raise £250 for Andy’s Man Club 👏

Would you like to see another one next Spring? 👀

⏪ Throwback to circa 2005!

Long before the 4 Cladding Services warehouse looked like it does today, we were based in Goole...

📸 and this photo captures the first generation of 4 Cladding Services.

Pictured are founders Martin Spence on the right and Ad Klabbers in the white shirt, who were instrumental in developing the relationship with VIAVAC vacuum lifting that we still have today.

📣 And a special shoutout to Neil on the left! Nearly 20 years on, he’s still part of the team as our Warehouse Supervisor.

⭐ Product of the Month: GRABO Pro ⭐

Small enough to carry around.
Capable of lifting up to 170kg.

The GRABO Pro is a handy bit of kit for moving heavy or awkward materials without relying solely on manual grip.

The smart pressure sensor automatically maintains suction, while the digital display gives you a clear indication of the grip.

📷 A great day with Vertikal Days earlier this month!

We caught up with some familiar faces and had a good wander around the cranes and lifting equipment.

Always interesting to see what’s going on across the industry!

“I have been using your products for years but still learned new information today.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kevin recently completed our Clad Boy CB3 - Roof & Wall course and gave it a 5-star rating, highlighting that there was still plenty to learn despite years of experience using our equipment.

You can never know too much when it comes to safe and effective equipment operation.

Earlier this month, the 4 Cladding Services team headed to the Roofdec Charity Football Event in support of Claire House Children’s Hospice.

📣 A huge thank you to the Roofdec team for putting on such a well-organised and genuinely fun day.

As for our footballing performance… well, we gave it our all 😂
