Had to shorten this door by 180mm to suit a non-standard frame height. The best way to do this is by moving the bottom rail up rather than just cutting the door down — this keeps the proportions consistent, retains the original design, and once finished, you’d never know it’s been modified! 👌🏻

A neat solution for doors that are just too thin to cut a lock into. This is a commercial property that required a deadlock with a euro cylinder thumbturn in an exit door, but the door was just too thin to house the lock. So I added some thickness with an oak pattress which can be stained to match the rest of the door .
