Merry Wednesday everyone!
I hope you’ve had as nice rest away from my weekly posts :D Unfortunately, I’m back at it and it’s been a good start so far this week.
However, last week was a week off. I had a bit of a rest and saw a few friends and it was a most excellent time. I still managed to get roped in to working on one of the days but that’s ok, keeps my hand in I suppose.
So with a bit of camping and a trip up to Pontefract out of the way, work soon found a wat to catch me up.
I’ve done an all keys lost on a Vauxhall Aglia; which is actually a Suzuki splash. A lady was visiting Shropshire from Yorkshire and had lost her keys. It was a mission but the car now has two working keys and better yet, the central locking was working. The poor lady had been living with out remote central locking for some time. She was very pleased!
I’ve attended a lock out where in every lock there was a key in the lock on the other side, please don’t leave keys in your locks, it can make it more difficult to get you in if you’re locked out. I’ve repaired a night latch in Ludlow.
Replaced hinges on a shop door, adjusted an electronic access door. 2 spare keys on a Ford Ranger too!
One final mention of work I’ve completed. An elderly couple had someone come round to unjam their French doors. Whoever this guy was left them insecure as he left with the full door mechanism and never came back. He didn’t even pop in a temporary lock to keep them secure. Its bad practice and leave people vulnerable. Please call a locksmith that someone has recommended to you, please don’t scour the internet looking for the cheapest deal. Often the cheapest deal will leave you out of pocket.
Anyway…
Please enjoy a couple of non-Locksmithing related pictures and a couple of work related ones.
