🕊️ It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of Cameron Turner. 💔

After years of loyal service, Cam is packing up and heading off for a new chapter with his girlfriend.

Survived by: His fellow groundies, a heartbroken management team and several machines wondering who's going to fix them now.

Because if something broke, Cam was the man to fix it. Our unofficial maintenance department, and a pretty good groundie too. 🔧

But genuinely, Cam's been a brilliant lad to have on the team, and any tree surgery business looking for a hardworking, reliable groundie (and all-round handyman!) would be lucky to have him.

Look after him, whoever gets him next.

Best of luck, Cam! 💚

🏆 It's official! CJ Tree Surgeons is a 2026 Nextdoor Neighbourhood Fave! 🌳

We're really pleased to have received this recognition, particularly because it's voted for by the people in our local community.

As a business that's grown largely through word of mouth and recommendations, this one means a lot.

Every recommendation, positive review and neighbour who passes our name on to someone else helps us continue doing what we love.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us, and of course, to our brilliant team whose hard work and dedication make recognition like this possible.

We're incredibly proud of the reputation we've built locally, and even prouder that our community continues to put its trust in us.

Here's to many more years of looking after our local trees and the people who live alongside them! 🌳

A morning well spent in Ross-on-Wye!

We recently carried out tree works for Ross-on-Wye Town Council, including roadside crown lifting and deadwood removal along the riverside.

🚦 With a single-lane closure in place and a busy footpath to keep open, there was plenty to juggle! Our ground crew acted as banksmen, stopping works and safely escorting pedestrians through the work zone.

Thanks to some good planning and a cracking team, we were all wrapped up by lunchtime! 👏

It’s officially conker-picking season. 🌰🍂

Sasha from marketing has been out with her little ones hunting for the biggest ones they could find, and Beth, our Business Manager, has been doing the same with her three sons.

But did you know… despite conkers feeling about as British as an autumn walk gets, Horse Chestnut trees aren’t actually native to Britain? 🌳

They originate from the Balkans and were introduced here hundreds of years ago.

So, who else still can’t walk past a good conker without picking it up?

What a day at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber Expo last week! 💃

We met a ridiculous amount of people from all sorts of businesses, had some really good chats and may have a few exciting collabs coming off the back of it 👀

There was also a LOT of good booth swag flying around… although the 3D-printed geckos from were definitely a favourite 🦎😂

And possibly the biggest achievement of the day…

Lisa Jobins FINALLY managed to pin James down long enough to get CJ 's signed up as members 😂👏

Great people, great day, and we’ll definitely be back!
