Knotweed Services (UK) Ltd now offer drone surveys for all Invasive Species, helping landowners, councils, estates and environmental teams identify problem areas quickly and efficiently.

Why use drone surveys?
✅ Cover large or difficult-to-access areas
✅ High-resolution aerial imagery
✅ Identify and map invasive vegetation
✅ Reduce time spent on ground surveys
✅ Create clear records for monitoring and management

From initial detection to ongoing monitoring, our drone surveys provide a faster, smarter view of your land.

Take a look at these drone images taken from the video footage from a recent survey we carried out for our client Murphy's, on behalf of National Gas Transmission, across a large site in Worcester.

Our drone survey was used to identify and map invasive species, with full reporting provided to support the planned gas pipe installation works.

All operatives are CAA license holders.

Got invasive species concerns? Get in touch to find out how our drone surveying service can help.

🌱 Japanese knotweed Stockpiling and Treatment 🌱

Our team has successfully completed a stockpiling and treatment of Japanese knotweed at a site in the Midlands area, following best practice and environmental guidelines.

Rather than transporting contaminated material off-site, the knotweed was excavated and stockpiled in a designated, controlled area. This method allows the material to be treated effectively with a targeted herbicide programme over time, reducing the risk of spreading this highly invasive plant while helping to minimise disposal costs and vehicle movements.

Managing invasive species like Japanese knotweed is essential to prevent further spread and protect surrounding land. By carefully stockpiling and treating the material, we help ensure effective long-term control while minimising environmental impact.

If you're planning construction work or need your site cleared, don't hesitate to get in touch. We'd be happy to help:
