A deeply personal update from Philip Knowles Carpentry

Dear Valued Clients,

I’m writing to share some very sad news—my dear mom passed away suddenly over the weekend. It’s been a huge shock for my family and I, and I’m taking a few days to process what’s happened and attend to urgent family matters.

I want to reassure you that your projects and enquiries remain important to me. While I may not be able to respond to messages or continue work immediately, I’ll be back as soon as I’m able to give things the care and attention they deserve.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. It means a great deal during this difficult time.

I just wanted to do a shout out for an amazing local company. Lady Platterley!

My wife surprised me with a Valentine graze box and it was absolutely superb! The quality of the ingredients, the presentation and the flavours was just spot on! I've munched on this for the last few nights and it's sadly now all gone. But I've enjoyed every last mouthful!

Thank you to my wife for the surprise but thank you to Kate at Lady Platterly for the attention to detail and the delicious contents.

Built in bespoke bookcase.

Check out the before and after pictures. This lovely client sent me the picture after it had been stained and wired up with lighting.

Looks completely fab and added a feature and loads of storage.
