Busy day today with two mechanism repairs, two lock replacements, a lockout, and a pair of handles changed. Managed to get everything completed efficiently and, most importantly, all customers were happy with the work carried out. It’s always satisfying to finish the day knowing people’s security issues have been resolved and they’re pleased with the service.

Attended a rental property today and met with both the landlord and tenant regarding an issue with the door lock, which was unable to be secured correctly.

Upon inspection, I identified a fault with the centre casing of the locking mechanism and replaced it. I then supplied and fitted a new anti-snap euro cylinder and realigned the door to ensure smooth operation and proper locking.

Following completion of the work at the rental property, the landlord requested additional security upgrades at her own property. I attended and replaced a couple of existing locks with new anti-snap cylinders to improve security.

All locks were tested and confirmed to be operating correctly before leaving the premises.

Had a call from a customer this morning whose door wasn’t locking. After inspecting the mechanism, I found a failed gearbox that needed replacing.

The faulty gearbox was replaced, and I upgraded the lock to an anti-snap lock for improved security and peace of mind. Another happy customer and another secure home! 🔐😊

A customer contacted me today to open a safe. She was unable to obtain the bypass code from the manufacturer because the safe had never been registered. As a locksmith, I contacted the manufacturer and was able to obtain the bypass code, allowing me to open the safe successfully.

While I was on site, I noticed that none of the doors were fitted with anti-snap locks. I therefore replaced the locks on all the doors to improve the property’s security.

K-Locks Locksmith Bromsgrove was called to a burglary on Stourbridge Road, Bromsgrove on 28th May 2026.

🥷The thieves arrived at the property at 5am. They managed to snap the lock and handle to gain entry, but were scared off by the house alarm👨‍✈️

I arrived and fitted 3* British Standard Apec Anti-Snap locks on all doors as the customer wanted all locks upgraded too.
