Before and after photos from the second turfing job we have completed for a customer in Bentley.

Their old lawn had become riddled with weeds and compacted over the years, so we lifted the old grass, rotovated the soil, applied a fresh layer of turf grade topsoil and laid new premium quality turf.

We also helped the customer install a brand new undeground irrigation system. This will help keep their lawn looking green year round whilst minimising waste water.

Huge thanks to Singletons Nurseries for supplying the soil and Teal Turf for supplying the turf.

Is your lawn looking a little worse for wear in this hot, dry weather?

Don’t worry - it’s normal for grass to go brown and become dormant during prolonged dry spells. The good news is that your lawn is usually much tougher than it looks!

Once we get some much needed rain and cooler temperatures, your lawn should start to recover.

Before and after of a hedge removal job in Bromsgrove.

Our customer had become fed up with this Leylandii hedge in their front garden. We suggested having it removed and replaced with a much more attractive and ecologically beneficial species, Taxus bacatta, or English Yew. They are much easier to prune to desired shape, can be cut back hard and regrow (unlike Leylandii), and are native to the UK so are a good home for our birds!
