First coat done on staircase number one.

You can already see the shape coming through: smooth, continuous, one surface from top to bottom. Next it gets primed and the second coat goes on.

Tip of the day from the team.

Sanding a curve with a flat pad drags. So we fit a sponge backed interface pad between the sander and the abrasive. It flexes with the surface and glides round the bends.

Small thing. Big difference on a spiral staircase.
