Social landlords: when a tenant reports damp and mould, the clock starts.

Awaab's Law is named after Awaab Ishak. He was two when he died in 2020, after living with mould in his family's flat. The law is there so it doesn't happen again.

Since October 2025 you have to:
→ Deal with emergencies within 24 hours
→ Investigate damp and mould within 10 working days
→ Make it safe within 5 working days after that

This customer wasn’t happy with rendering completed by another contractor. We corrected the uneven upper section as far as practicable, base coated the entire front and applied a fresh cork finish.

The Bath stone surrounds received a contrasting cork colour, bringing out the home’s original character. 🏡👌

Wet windows in the morning? The heating's going on, and so is the condensation.

Try these five things:

→ Dry washing outside, or in a room with a window open
→ Put lids on pans and use the extractor fan
→ Keep trickle vents open
→ Wipe windows dry each morning
→ Leave a gap between furniture and outside walls

If mould keeps coming back on the same wall, it's often a cold wall. We can come and take a look and tell you what's causing it.
