There is always something reassuring about the quality of a Mira Excel Mixer Shower. In my experience it’s a great workhorse, relatively easy to install, feels really solid and spares are readily available. This is a recent installation of a Glow-worm Energy7 25c Condensing Combination Boiler I completed in a flat in Central Bath. The Building has listed status so the Owner did not want to gain building consent for a further hole to be drilled for a new Flue. Therefore the existing Flue position was utilised following the removal of the previous Worcester Junior 24i Boiler.

Whilst fitting a new wash hand basin later last year I discovered one of the existing connections had a long term leak in the floor! Hence why the floor started to lift! I carefully channelled the floor out, made good the pipe connections, ran new pipework to the basin and satisfactorily tested for leaks.

Indirect Hot Water Cylinder Replacement. During the Christmas period of last year my customers suffered with a leaking vessel! I fixed the problem with a new cylinder. Hot water supply reinstated and my customers enjoyed the rest of the festive period with their family and guests.
