⚠️ Another potentially dangerous fault identified and rectified.

We were recently called out to investigate a tripping circuit for a new customer. During our inspection, we discovered a severely burnt RCBO (see photo).

The extent of the damage indicated a serious risk of overheating and potential fire if the issue had remained undetected.

This highlights exactly why regular EICR inspections are so important. Many electrical faults develop gradually and can go unnoticed until they become a significant safety risk.

We replaced the faulty RCBO, checked all other devices and terminations within the consumer unit, and ensured everything was operating safely.

The installation was left in full, safe working order, and the customer was delighted with the outcome.

Our latest project, Bayards Court, Dartmouth, is nearing completion.

This luxury purpose-built care home in the Devon countryside offers 63 beds, including suites and is designed to a very high specification.
