β‘ PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: THE YARD, BRISTOL
We recently completed the residential electrical installation and house rewire at The Yard β a striking architect-designed, timber-framed home in Bristol.
Working as part of the wider renovation team, our role went far beyond sockets and cables. We worked closely with the client and other contractors to create an electrical installation that complemented the architecture while supporting a highly efficient, low-energy home.
π‘ Bespoke residential lighting design
βοΈ Electrical integration for solar PV and battery storage
πΏ Air source heat pump and MVHR infrastructure
πΆ CAT6 data and whole-house Wi-Fi
π Complete house rewire
β‘ Modern RCBO protection and surge protection
π₯ Smoke, heat and CO detection
π‘ Carefully planned switching, dimming and feature lighting
One of our favourite parts of the project was the three-storey central atrium, where the lighting was designed to complement the architecture rather than compete with it.
The finished home shows what can be achieved when the electrical design is considered as an integral part of a renovation from the very beginning.
