Just finished this job in BS5 today. 2 days work to bead and skim everything here before the plumber comes back to second fix. He was under a bit of pressure (no pun intended) so I did a Late one to make sure it was done today.

This was a Job I did locally. An artex landing ceiling and a "plowshare twist" which is the curvy finish under the staircase, mesh, 2 coats of bonding and 2 coats of multi finish. A plastic trowel made it nice and smooth.

Here's another lime refurbishment we finished last week. The outside of the building is mostly bath stone. The external walls needed to breath so the old plaster was hacked off.

The walls were then re plastered with several layers of Breathaplasta containing cork for insulation. Then they were meshed and skimmed with a finer lime based plaster.

Now the walls can allow moisture out while keeping the heat in!

Just finished a nice job in Hanham. The customer had fitted the walls out with wood wool fibre board and I plastered it with Breathaplasta. It is a fine h**p lime that allows the room to "breathe" which helps with condensation and mold. I was able to achieve a nice flat finish using 2 coats and a mesh in between.
