Next Tuesday, .architects are opening the doors to a recently completed Passivhaus build near Bath.

The team will outline the thermal performance predicted using PHPP compared to actual performance data, and the client will be on hand to talk and answer questions about their experience of living in a Passivhaus. Join us to see the finished house, and learn about the design process from concept through to realisation on site.

One week to go until our free Twilight Talk: Heat Pumps – From ‘Warts and All’ Experiences to Potential Solutions.

Decarbonising home heating via heat pumps is currently fraught with challenges from choosing the right installer, ensuring quality installations and handovers.

In this month's Twilight Talk, Matthew Jones from Bristol City Council shares his team's ‘warts and all’ experiences with installations of heat pumps in social housing and walks through a series of resources the team has created to tackle the issues they have come across.

Join us for this 2-part online series on ventilation, with the first session offering an overview of ventilation and a focus on demand controlled ventilation and the second session covering MVHR. This session can be attended as a stand-alone seminar or both sessions can be booked for free with a funded place.

The speaker for this online training will be Vince House from Aereco Limited Vince has been in the HVAC industry for over 20 years. This time has been divided among manufacturing and contracting, giving a good insight into both the supply chain and the delivery side of the industry. Working predominantly within the social housing sector, Vince is helping to deliver Retrofit to PAS2035 standards and overcoming mould issues. He is passionate about energy efficiency and delivering positive outcomes.
