We highly recommend planed timber over grooved timber because although grooved decking might look great, it's a major culprit when it comes to slips and trips. The grooves trap water and dirt, creating a breeding ground for slippery algae. They also retain moisture, increasing the risk of slipping and speeding up wear and tear.
