Well, no need anymore! Finally got myself a 3 phase adapter, dunno how long they've been out but it makes testing stuff like this easier & safer!

We have ALL had this scenario!

Landlord or client just wants an hob/oven connected on the way home....

You get there, under the plinth is a round brown junction box typically with a 2 6mm's in (1 supply from isolator & 1 hob cable) & a 1mm for the hob ignition or oven......

So carry one of these or a Click dual outlet plate in your van to get you out of this common sticky situation!

Quite commonly, in 90% of UK homes is just 1 6mm supply in the kitchen. Nowadays I hope you all (like myself) run in 2 6mms (or 6mm & a 2.5) for ovens/hobs now to minimise disruption and future proof the kitchen!
