BEFORE & AFTER - Failed Lintel Replaced ✅Swipe to see the difference 👉This lintel above the window at the top of the stairs had failed. The old timber lintel had given way, cracking the brickwork and blowing the plaster right back to bare brick.This needed a proper structural repair, not just a patch.What we did:Day 1:
✅ Propped / jacked up to support the brickwork
✅ Removed the failed timber lintel
✅ Raked out all loose mortar in the surrounding brickwork
✅ Resin-fixed support bars over the cracked brickwork areas to stitch it back together
✅ Re-mortared as needed
✅ New lintel fitted and left to set securely while still supportedDay 2:
✅ Props removed
✅ Hardwalled back out to build up the wall
✅ Plastered same day ready for decorationSolid, safe and structurally sound again - you would never know it had failed.If you have cracking above windows / doors or a blown / cracked wall, get it checked before it gets worse.Based in Bristol.

✅ Steel work - RSJ steel fitted on padstones to take the load, then fire-boarded to meet building regs
✅ Ceilings - Old ceilings taken down, new ceilings throughout with new spotlights
✅ Plastering - Full re-plaster to walls and ceilings
✅ Kitchen fit - Modern high-gloss grey handleless units fitted floor-to-ceiling for maximum storage, tall integrated fridge/freezer housing, built-in double oven, gas hob, island unit for extra worktop space and seating

Ceiling Repair After A Leak 💧No before photo on this one - sadly forgot to take one!The flat above had a leak under the bath which ruined this ceiling, so the whole ceiling had to come down.What we did:
✅ Took down the damaged ceiling
✅ Bonded out to flatten - the timbers were all over the place
✅ Fresh plaster to a smooth finish
