Another staircase renovation wrapped up in Hurstpierpoint by R C Carpentry and Renovations Ltd.

We transformed this tired stair area into a solid, long-lasting feature piece — not just a facelift, but a proper upgrade. The space under the stairs was fitted out with bespoke storage and a custom oak bookcase, turning dead space into something genuinely useful. Existing newel posts were clad in oak to bring everything together, along with solid oak handrails for strength and feel. Finished off with a toughened glass balustrade to keep things open while staying safe and compliant.

Built right, fitted properly, and made to last. If your staircase needs doing, do it once — do it well.

Job recently finished up in Patcham.
We laid engineered wood flooring, built some bespoke under-stairs storage to make good use of the space, and gave the kitchen a bit of a facelift — new door fronts, solid oak worktops, and a tiled splashback to tie it all together.
