New government figures show:

⚡ 22,733 new solar installations in April alone
🏠 95% of installations in 2025 were on rooftops
📉 Domestic solar installation costs fell by up to 9%

Small Works & Testing Electricians:
From fault finding and EICRs to reactive maintenance, repairs and smaller installations. A 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent) is required.

Installation Electricians:
Working on a variety of electrical installations, from smaller projects to larger commercial contracts.

Unlike homes, most businesses use the majority of their electricity during the day, exactly when solar is generating. That means the energy is used directly rather than exported back to the grid.

For buildings with good roof space and consistent usage, it’s not unusual to see payback periods around 2–3 years. 💰️
