The Treegarden Ethos is as follows:

Respect For Nature – With a strong connection to the natural environment in which Chris and his colleagues work, Treegarden’s methods and working practices are always considerate and sympathetic towards all living things. Furthermore, we always clear up after ourselves and recycle all green waste at the nearest recycling center. Safety At Work – Treegarden use government guidelines and industry-approved standards of safe working practice at all times. Development – Ongoing development and knowledge growth has and always will be a strong ethos for all those involved with Treegarden.

Water smart until frost

• Don’t stop watering too soon
• Adjust frequency to rainfall
• Protect watering systems

Colder weather doesn’t mean your plants don’t need water — experts caution against stopping too early. Use moisture meters if needed.

And don’t forget: winterise watering systems before frost. I can advise.

When is the last time you saw a butterfly or a bee in your outdoor space? A healthy garden should be teaming with wildlife, either living there or visiting.

Lawns and ponds, along with flowers and herbs which produce lots of nectar, are all great ways of encouraging more wildlife into your garden.

I’ve included pictures of some plants to attract butterflies, bees and other essential pollinators to your garden. It’s not too late to get to the garden centre.

Choose sunny, sheltered spots when planting nectar plants.

A variety of plants will attract a wider variety of species. Planting the same types in blocks makes the colour and scent easier to detect.

Flowers which bloom at different times throughout the year will provide nectar for hungry insects whenever they need it.

Enjoy your garden,

🌳 Chris 🌳
