This set of 3 entirely unique, hand turned tea light stands are fabricated by gluing together different contrasting hardwoods before putting the block on the lathe. The 2 species of timber used here are Maple and Walnut , which have been finished in a hard wax oil.

Unique Christmas Present opportunity

This unique set of 4 candle holders are hand turned and finished with hard wax oil. They incorporate metal inserts that house the tealights securely. The method of fabrication involves planing different timbers perfectly flat and gluing them together in layers, before turning the resulting block on

Christmas present alert!

I have taught myself wood turning this year.

Here are some of the fruits of my labour which I am reluctantly willing to part with (I want to keep them all!) since they would make such wonderful Christmas presents for everybody.

These are all tea light stands, and are made by planing then gluing together all sorts of different hardwoods. I've become a bit of a hardwood magpie as a result, it really puts to use all those nice offcuts.
