Mittens have been working on the incredible transformation of Saltdean United FC at Hill Park. The club has been completely modernised from the ground up.

⭐️State-of-Art Green Tech
The clubhouse is powered by energy-efficient Air Source Heat Pumps(ASHP) running alongside the ground - floor underfloor heating, and a smart MVHR (heat recovery) ventilation system that continuously recycles indoor heating and hole keeping the changing rooms fresh.

FIFA tested 3G artificial pitch, say goodbye to water logged games ☔️

🌳Community & Biodiversity
Alongside the gender-neutral, fully accessible changing spaces, there will be planting of 420 trees and reseeding of a native chalk meadow.

By investing in green energy, it means they are slashing the carbon print and drastically reducing running costs- ensuring more resources go straight back into grassroots football ⚽️ ⚽️⚽️

Big news for Sidley 🏗️✨

Mittens has been proud to work alongside BMR Construction as an exciting new state-of-the-art sports pavilion moves into its construction phase at Sidley Recreation Ground.

As part of the project, we’ve been installing modern, energy-efficient systems including mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR), air source heat pumps, and underfloor heating- helping to create a sustainable and comfortable space for the community.

The brand-new Sidley Hub will be a fully accessible facility, offering top-quality sports changing areas, a cafe, accessible toilets, off street parking, and flexible spaces for local groups and recreational use.

Following demolition of the old facilities, construction is now officially underway-so you may notice more activity on site over the next coming weeks.

The £3.4 million development is part of a wider £19.3 million Levelling Up Fund project, set to bring lasting benefits to the Sidley community.

That's a wrap!!
Mittens Plumbing & Heating have been working collaboratively with Sunninghill Construction to deliver eleven new apartments in the Worthing area. This project is one of only a handful of multi-residential developments to achieve Passivhaus certification.

Each apartment is fully electric and low-carbon, equipped with MVHR and heat pump technology.
