Hello everyone,

Another productive week making the most of the weather before the rain today!
Yesterday we finished tile hanging this dormer including the installation of windows and the mortar work on the reveals! Just minor snagging and the guttering to pop on this morning and it's complete. Just in time before more wet weather!

Making use of what seems to be a rare dry day today! 🌧️
These two large velux windows installed side by side along with flashing kits, new double rafters/trimmers & tiling..
On our current loft conversation project in sompting!
(New steel beam and ashlar wall beneath to be completed next)

Good Evening everyone 👋

As usual no post for a while due to being busy as always!
Here attached are before, during and after pictures of a new mineral felt flat roof and other mixed works for some lovely repeat customers of ours in lancing.
This job consisted of...

✅ Strip up of extremely rotten existing felt.
✅ Demolition of chimney and made good.
✅ New celotex insulation and T&G ply deck.
✅ New 3 layer built up mineral felt system.
✅ New fascia, vented soffit and guttering.
✅ Clean/de-moss of existing tiles.
✅ 12 meters of ridges wire brushed and re-laid!

Another happy client to say the least!

Don't settle for overlay jobs which is very common in this industry.🚫Not only is it massively corner cutting and cheating it's leaving the existing roof just buried under a new layer and saving the contractor the time of ripping the job up and disposal of the waste etc. if you are having a flat roof replacement and it's out of eyesight don't hesitate to ask your contractor to take some good quality pictures of there work and put it in writing in there quotation/ schedule of works. Do it properly or not at all.

Good evening everyone, 👋

No post for a while due to being busy as always..
But here are some before, during, & after pictures of a recently completed built up mineral felt project.
The existing roof was in a very bad way as you can see. With the decking being so damaged it was pretty much like cardboard! With adding extra insulation, removal of a redundant boiler flue, addition of new acrylic roof dome, new fascia and guttering, 18mm T&G OSB ply decking, and finished off with a 3 layer built up mineral felt in a charcoal finish. Safe to say it's a massive difference! Much more pleasing to the eye and most importantly leak free!!
We are currently taking bookings with some extremely rare availability!

Not the best video due to having some sun for a change!
But before and after clip of another one of these little Dormer refurbishments. Sides of dormer covered with new osb, breathable felt membrane &, treated battons then finished off with burnt red composite cladding. New under cloaks and mortar work to: ridges, verges & valleys. Leak free and a lovely fresh look!

Following on from the last post here are before, during & After pictures of a recent parapet roof replacement on lancing seafront for some lovely customers!
Getting rid of the parapet (completely unnecessary) in this instance in my honest opinion.. And with some clever joist work with two different falls in different directions creating a proper flat roof. Fully celotex insulated and 3 layers of built up mineral felt onto 18mm osb T&G boards.
Another great result and more happy customers as always 😁
