A day and a half of clearing bamboo. Digging up removing all the roots that have squeezed up behind and sometimes into the wall and sleeper edging.
Thin down and clean up of the stems and leaf litter.

Tips for anyone planting bamboo- GIVE IT SPACE! Don’t plant it in tight spots. Also, w**d membrane is a terrible idea in general, but around bamboo especially, it is a nightmare. Avoid using the unnecessary plastic as it doesn’t stop w**ds anyway.
